"What My Mother Never Knew" is a self help book designed to open up a dialogue for those who have experienced similar childhood abuse: albeit, bully, physical, mental or sexual abuse.
I am a survivor of childhood sexual abuse. I was violated by the very people whom I thought would protect: but in turn, they violated me both physically and mentally. Growing up and holding onto a secret that big, manifested into anger, self hate, and low self esteem; thus, I wanted to create a platform for those who have experienced the same tragic events.
Unfortunately, my story is not unique, as more than forty two million people experience childhood trauma annually. It has to stop.
Through this book, I explain my story, and the steps I took to heal my soul, and more importantly, stopping the chaos that consumed my daily life. I discuss my childhood, failed relationships, faith and physical fitness.
